October 2017 Blog Challenge Month

Welcome to the October 2017 Blog Challenge Month with the Ultimate Blog Challenge. Long time readers will be familiar with this challenge. For new ones, this is where I attempt to write a blog post every day for the month of October. The Ultimate Blog Challenge runs 4 times a year in January, April, July and October. Which makes this the last blog challenge month for the year of 2017.

"amummyslifenz" "ultimate blog challenge"Obviously lately I seem to have been down a rabbit hole more than sharing blog posts with you all. As I mentioned in a post in back in August the reason for that has mostly been due to my PND. My PND has pretty much affected all areas of my life recently including my motivation for keeping up with my blog and youtube channel. The last thing I have felt like doing recently is being social!

Which means I am more than probably going to be finding this month’s challenge even harder than I normally do. Especially as I will be struggling to come up with fresh content to share with you everyday. However, I am going to aim to try. It’s time to pull my head out of the sand and rejoin the blogging world.

This is going to be a long and hard journey for me this month. It’s not easy recovering from depression at the best of times. Even harder when I’m still very much deep in the depths of it. I am probably going to be relying on the email prompts a lot more than I usually do this month.

So wish me luck and bear with me for this October 2017 Blog Challenge month. Trust me. I’m seriously going to need it.

I’ve been caught in chronic depression several times in my life. You have a lot of challenges but I hope, in writing about them, you will find a world (literally, as I am on the other side of the world from you) of support. Maybe even some laughter. Looking forward to having you back.

    Hello Patricia,
I am glad that you decided to join this challenge. It may be hard for your but I am sure you’ll find lots of treasurable (don’t even know if this words exists…) friends here that will help you fight your PND. What helps me with tough moments is to sew, it gives me the wings I need to feel better, creative, use my heart, hands and brain and make something special. If you ever need a cheer up, you know where to find me!

  9. Hang in there Patricia! You’re right, for us renegade bloggers, this blog-a-day challenge is gonna be hard. But we can do it! And maybe you can turn that PND around by blogging about the funny things that happen when a new baby is in the house! I get caught in chronic depression, too, so I know you’re struggling, but having a bent sense of humor helps me through it. Good luck, gal!
