Halloween is time of fun foods and when making those foods are easy, it’s even better. I spent last night baking up a storm for some yummy Halloween Treats to go in my kids’ lunch boxes and for their afternoon tea when they get home from school and kindy and they are so easy to do!
I used a box of Edmond’s vanilla cupcake mix and added green food gel to make them green. One box makes 2 dozen mini cupcakes or 1 dozen large ones. I then put purple food gel into the icing mix. You may prefer to use other colours. To decorate, I sprinkled a little popping candy over the icing and added eye lollies. You can also use teeth lollies or sour worms or anything else you desire to get a Halloween look.
Witch Hat and Bat Cookies
I used a basic sugar cookie dough to make these. All you need are some fun cookie cutter shapes to make some fun Halloween cookies. I used a witch hat cutter and a bat cutter. Added bonus, eat them plain or get the kids to decorate them for you!
I bought the donuts from our local supermarket and just added teeth lollies for a fun afternoon tea Halloween treat. So easy!
