In keeping with the blog challenges that I’m participating in this month, I thought I had better introduce myself and my blog for both the other challenge participants as well any new readers I have picked up recently.
First off, I’m Patricia and I live in New Zealand. I have been blogging since 2011 and am what’s known as a Mummy Blogger. I usually blog about family life, post recipes, and do reviews on any products or movies I have enjoyed, or any other topics that I feel enough about to post about.
I am married to a wonderful South African man, named Eugene. Usually I reference him on my blog as Hubby. We have been together for 10.5 years and married for almost 7 years. You’ll find out more about him later this month.
We have four children. Our oldest child is Celine. She is 8 years old. Celine has been a regular topic on my blog over the last few years due to a condition that she has called Legg-Calve Perthes Disease. She is mostly over this particular problem so new posts on it are rare. However, if you would like to read more about what Perthes Disease is or Celine’s journey with it, you are more than welcome to go check out my archives in this handy little link!
Blake is 4 years old and is our only boy. He loves Spiderman, trains, painting his nails and watching Barbie movies. Blake has an eye condition called a squint which is basically a lazy eye that turns inwards and requires glasses for correction.
Danielle (or Dani) is our 3 year old. She is in full on threenager mode these days which can make for some tough parenting! I call her my “no fear” child since she can usually be found doing things that are generally designed to give me a heart attack!
Isabella (or Bella) is our youngest and our last child. She is just shy of 10 months old will be turning 1 in September. She is full of curiosity and is at her happiest exploring. She has just taken her first steps and is currently learning to have more confidence in her feet.
So, that’s about it. Not much more I can add to this but I’m sure you’ll be learning even more about me in this coming month!
