I went to see the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie over the weekend with Hubby. We took Bella with us (because: food source) and (total mum brag) she slept the entire time!

The movie was an interesting mix of old and new characters with a kind of deja vu feel to it. Some of the plot feels recycled to a certain past sequal but with new twists. It explained who some of the new charecters and what their histories are but not others and I am desperate to find out what the connection to the new female star is to the Jedi. I have my suspiscions but I’m guessing I will have to wait until the next release for the answer to that question.
We watched The Force Awakens in 3D and that was quite trippy with the special effects. They mostly made it look the same as in the past movies but with a more updated technological feel to it. I don’t know if the special effects would be quite as trippy when not viewed in 3D.
They kept fairly similar clothing styles to past movies even though the setting takes place at least 2 decades from the previous sequal.
I would definitely recommend seeing the new Star Wars movie if you haven’t already. It’s certainly one of the better 2015 releases.
