Last week marked a new milestone in parenting for us. Our oldest baby girl lost the last of her baby teeth. Celine received her last visit from the tooth fairy.
Our tooth fairy traditions are a little different to most families. The tooth fairy doesn’t like trying to get teeth out from under pillows. Instead she likes to take the tooth out of a little glass of water placed in the kitchen so children can’t wake up and accidentally see her working!
My own tooth fairy started this tradition and I continued it on with my own children’s tooth fairy. Of course, only Celine has visits from the tooth fairy yet. Blake has yet to lose his first baby tooth. So it’s a bit sad that we’ve said “goodbye” to the tooth fairy for a while. But only a little while.
